2. Choose your dimensions

3. Finish

A matter of taste: same readability, same colours (stock permitting), same durability. Glossy is not a mirror.

Material

PLA suits almost everything; PETG handles heat better. "Heat" does not mean sunlight: for UV, PLA and PETG are equally vulnerable — our maps remain indoor objects.

Map & colors

Colored map

Adds colors to the topography

Fine layers

Thinner layers: fewer visible steps on gentle slopes and flat areas

Roofs on buildings

Adds sloped roofs to buildings (instead of flat tops)

Relief

No relief (flat ground)

Flattens the terrain: ideal for cities, buildings stand out on a flat base. Disables relief accentuation and target height.

Accentuate relief

Vertically exaggerates the terrain for a more pronounced relief (adjustable once ticked).

Round the edge

Softens the model edge into a rounded profile all the way round (no-frame only; radius adjustable once ticked).

Flat coloured edge

Colours the model edge with a clean horizontal line (no-frame only; height adjustable once ticked).

LiDAR HD relief

High-definition relief and buildings from a LiDAR scan (covered areas of France; standard render elsewhere)

Snow on peaks

Adds snow above an adjustable altitude (once ticked).

Merge mountain ranges

Merges small nearby peaks into more legible ranges (intensity adjustable once ticked).

Tracks & highlights

GPX track

Renders an imported GPX route (hike, run…) in relief on the map.

Highlighted address

Your address highlighted in colour

Landmark

Adds a coloured landmark

Text on the map

Village names taken from the map (move, correct, add to them) or free text, painted on the piece

✨ Highlight an element

Select the elements to highlight directly on the map (track colour).

🔤 Text on the map

The names of the villages in your area are added automatically. Drag them on the map to place them (the original point often falls in the town centre), fix the spelling, delete them or add your own text. Labels are shown at their real size on the piece.
